UPDATE ON CURRENT OUTBREAK:
Dear Puyallup Children’s Theater Families,
We wanted to take a moment to let you know what steps we are taking at Puyallup Children’s Theater to prevent further spread of COVID-19, commonly know as coronavirus. With new information being released daily, we are opting to take our cues from public health officials.
As developments around coronavirus continue to evolve, we are looking to the Washington State Department of Health and Pierce County Public Health for guidance and direction. To that end, here’s how we are managing this at Puyallup Children’s Theater:
1) Adding daily sanitizing measure to our cleaning routine throughout the building – theater, bathrooms, lobby, etc. In addition, all these spaces will be thoroughly cleaned following each performance.
2) Ensuring that hand sanitizer is easily accessible throughout the facility. We are also making sure all students and staff use hand sanitizer upon entrance to the building.
3) As we do under normal circumstances, we encourage any staff that are ill to stay home, and any guests that might be feeling ill to refrain from attending performances.
We hope that both "Crowns" and "Chicken Little" will offer a welcome and much needed break from the current craziness!
